PoSH Act 2013: Law on Sexual Harassment at Work in India

Sexual harassment at workplaces is a violation of women’s right to work. It infringes on their right to live with dignity as well. Consolidating various global and national laws on the issue, in December 2013, the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act came into force in India. Often referred to as the PoSH Act 2013 , this was a huge reassurance to women across India working in various industries.
